No. All scans run entirely on your device. Only anonymized threat hashes are synced to our servers to power community-based threat detection — we never see your IP addresses, device names, or location data.
The Free plan gives you 5 scans per day with non-intrusive privacy-respecting ads. Premium removes ads, unlocks unlimited scans, real-time background notifications, full threat history, and background scanning.
Yes. Five scans per day is enough for most users — one scan when you arrive at a new location. If you need continuous monitoring or real-time alerts, Premium is worth the upgrade.
We use contextual ads that show relevant tech content based solely on the page context — no tracking, no behavioral profiling, no third-party data sharing. We would never use Google AdSense or Meta Ads on a privacy app.

Currently Santinela detects and alerts — it does not block. Active blocking (firewall-level) is on our roadmap. For now, you can use the threat report to manually disconnect from suspicious networks or change locations.
